Then, the reservation becomes effective only with the agreement of the campsite, after receipt of the deposit and after receipt either of the reservation contract duly completed and signed, or after acceptance of the general conditions of sale when booking online. Above all, the “Le Clairet” campsite offers family-oriented stays, in the traditional sense, the accommodations are specially designed for this purpose. Our Campsite reserves the right to refuse any reservation which would be contrary to this principle, or which would seek to divert it. Therefore, for safety and insurance reasons, the maximum number of occupants cannot be exceeded. In addition, a baby is considered as a whole person.
Also, the “Le Clairet” campsite reserves the right to refuse access to the campsite. This refusal may occur in the event of groups or families presenting themselves with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the rented accommodation. Remember to bring your sheets, fitted sheets and pillowcases. Then, animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, etc.) are allowed in the rentals as well as outside under certain conditions. So that the latter must be vaccinated (up to date in their vaccines) and kept on a leash within the enclosure of the campsite.

Cancellation and Amendments

1. Modification of your Booking
You can request the modification of your stay for the campsite, the dates and/or the type of accommodation. This request for modification must be made upon written request to the campsite by post or e-mail. We will respond favorably to the extent of availability and possibilities. No postponement will be accepted on the following season, unless the COVID crisis requires it. You have to pay attention to a few points. For a modification of the stay, the customer will not be able to benefit from promotions subsequent to his initial reservation. It is the date of the first reservation that is authentic. In the absence of modification, the customer must make his stay under the initial booking conditions. Or if necessary, cancel it according to the conditions of the cancellation insurance.
• We will carry out any request for an increase in stay according to the rates in force as well as availability.
• Each request to reduce the length of your stay is considered a partial cancellation. It will therefore be subject to the terms of cancellation and interruption of stay. In the absence of a message from you indicating a postponement of your arrival date. The Management reserves the right to make the accommodation available for sale again 24 hours after the agreed arrival date. You will therefore lose the benefit of your reservation.
2. Services not used
Any stay interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) by you cannot give rise to a refund. And this, whatever the reason given.
3. Cancellation due to “Le Clairet” campsite

• More than 30 days before the start date of the stay: we keep the deposit as compensation, unless you have taken out cancellation insurance.

Cancellation Insurance

Internal Regulations (excerpt)

The camper must respect the internal regulations of the campsite as well as those of the body of water of the municipality.
The “parking” location of the rental or the camping location is designed for a single vehicle. Any other car must park outside the campsite.
Wood-fired barbecues are prohibited on the estate. They are allowed only on barbecue air designed for this purpose. Gas or electric barbecues are tolerated.
VISITORS: visitors must declare themselves upon arrival and must pay a fee. They are admitted between 11 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. They must park their car in the car park outside the campsite and report to reception upon arrival. If the latter is closed, you can go to the Bar Restaurant La Paillotte. Any abuse from visitors or tenants with visitors may result in their expulsion. This may also result in compensation costs.

TRAFFIC: the speed is limited to 10 km/h. The barriers close from 0h and 6h in the morning. Traffic within the campsite is prohibited during this period.
NOISE: First of all, if a customer disturbs the stay of other users, the Campsite can put him on notice to put an end to the disturbances. Same thing if a client does not respect the provisions of the internal regulations. Also if he gives false information about the occupants of the plot. For a serious or repeated violation of the internal regulations and following a formal notice by the Campsite, the latter may terminate the contract. In the same way as in the event of a criminal offence, the manager may call on the police.

Liability of the Contractual Customer

On the one hand the contractual client of the accommodation or pitch (name indicated on the booking form), undertakes to use and have used by the persons accompanying him, the equipment and installations of the parks in accordance with their normal destinations and uses. On the other hand, he undertakes in particular to leave his accommodation or pitch in good condition when he leaves it at the end of the stay. Consequently, any degradation of the premises, loss or destruction of the movable elements which furnish the mobile homes or the public buildings of the park automatically engages the responsibility of their author.
So this person, is considered personally responsible for all damage, loss, degradation, disturbance or nuisance caused by the people who stay with him or who visit him. Furthermore, the latter acknowledges having read the internal regulations of the campsite. He undertakes to respect it and have it respected by the people who accompany him or visit him.
Finally, when a customer disturbs or causes nuisance to other customers or damages the integrity of the common facilities, the campsite reserves the right to put an immediate end to his stay. And this without paying compensation and without prejudice to claims for compensation that the campsite and third parties could assert against it.

The same would apply if the campsite were to notice excessive occupation of the accommodation (number of occupants greater than the authorized capacity of the rental). Consequently, the customer certifies that he holds a civil liability contract with his insurer covering damage that may be caused to the property rented or entrusted (provide the certificate).

Responsibility of the Campsite

Under no circumstances does the campsite assume the obligation to keep personal effects and objects within the grounds of the park.
The responsibility of the campsite, beyond its legal responsibility, cannot be engaged in the event of:
1 = theft, loss, damage or degradation of personal effects of any kind whatsoever, during or following a stay.
2 = breakdown or decommissioning of technical equipment, breakdown or permanent or temporary closure of certain campsite facilities when these are beyond its control and linked to cases of force majeure.
3 = specific measures, which could be taken by the campsite management, to limit access to certain facilities. If the latter are made necessary by compliance with safety standards or periodic maintenance work.
4 = damage caused or suffered by customers’ vehicles parking and circulating within the campsite, even if they have been expressly authorized to enter.
5 = modification of the entertainment program or the activities offered.

In low season, and for reasons related to attendance, the campsite reserves the right to modify or remove certain facilities, services or planned activities. For any reservation in low season, we advise you to contact the campsite to validate these points.
