Camping le Clairet welcomes you to the edge of its lake from spring to autumn.
It is located in the heart of Chautagne, just 8km from "Chatillon beach" at Lac du Bourget.
The Campsite is also on the way to the Via Rhona, which is only one km far from the campsite

Located in the heart of the Village of Serrières in Chautagne and on the edge of its lake, Camping le Clairet awaits you! We welcome you in a tent, caravan, camping car or in the rentals we have: mobile homes and caravans.
In addition to the campsite, you can of course enjoy the lake for free. As a natural water source is responsible for supplying the body of water with fresh water continuously. Indeed, you will be able to take full advantage of supervised swimming all summer long from the beginning of July to the end of August.Thus, in a family and friendly atmosphere you can enjoy the Restaurant La Paillotte. We offer various activities (for young and old) that we offer throughout the summer such as:
  • Petanque contest, organized by “l’Amicale Bouliste Chautagnarde“.
  • Karaoke evenings.
  • Concerts at the restaurant (Les Missiz, David et Sandrine Locatelli, other miscellaneous groups).
  • Belotte competition.
  • Drawing contest.
  • Yoga and/or Stretch activity (bookable online for your stay).

Campsite Le Clairet - An ideal location!

Adjacent to the departments of Ain and Haute Savoie, Chautagne has exceptional natural resources that you can discover during your stay: lakes, wines, panoramas, towns of Aix les Bains, Chanaz, Annecy…

The campsite is well suited for lovers of the ViaRhôna, the famous cycle path that goes from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean Sea, the latter passing just behind the campsite.

Free body of water

Located less than 20 meters from the lake of Serrières, in a protected area for children, swimming is supervised all summer from July to August, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Games for children are also available in a closed park, on the edge of the lake.

Location

Take advantage of an excellent geographical location, just 8km from Lac du Bourget, 22km from Aix les Bains, close to Chanaz and the most famous vineyards of Savoy, not far from the mountains and the Fiers gorges.

Bar and Restaurant

Our Bar Restaurant La Paillotte will be able to satisfy your taste buds thanks to its varied menu, carefully designed and based on fresh products from Savoyard "short circuits", as much for food as for drinks and wines.

You can take advantage of parking your vehicle in the campsite with your rented pitch, and you can also take advantage of free parking lots all around the campsite.

Bike Rental

We offer a bike rental service from May 15 to September 15. You can take advantage of hybrid bikes, including a child and a junior, mountain bikes and a baby seat. Rentable from 2 hours to 2 days.

"We were two bikepackers. Very well located campsite on the Via Rhona bike path Great value for money : large grassy pitches with plenty of shade, spotless facilities and hot showers. The pizzeria and restaurant in the village were both closed that night, so the owner very kindly brought us a meal, even though the snack bar was not serving food yet this early in the season. Lovely gesture, and it made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended as a stopover for bikepackers."
